Emily Epstein provided a Giving and Receiving Feedback Training at the Harvard Mediation Program, April 2007

Insight Associate Emily Epstein taught the evening program on April 11 at Harvard Law School. She shared a theoretical framework on how to give and receive feedback constructively and then gave participants an opportunity to practice their skills in small groups. The session also addressed feedback challenges such as how to address status imbalances and how to turn the conversation into a two-way dialogue. The training was offered to all active Harvard Mediation Program mediators and satisfied part of the Rule 8 requirements for continuing education.
