Insight Fellow Jared Leiderman presents Training of Trainers program for Partners for Democratic Change in Amman, Jordan, June 2007

Insight Fellow Jared Leiderman delivered a full-day training workshop on June 2, 2007, for in-house and freelance trainers of Partners-Jordan, a Jordanian NGO specializing in mediation, conflict management, and communication. The purpose of the workshop was to develop an enhanced understanding of negotiation theory and explore its training applications. Topics discussed included good outcomes, difficult tactics, meeting design, and advanced facilitation techniques. The training, which drew on materials developed by Insight Partners, is the first in a three-part series. Partners-Jordan is affiliated with Partners for Democratic Change International, which promotes conflict management and civil society development in more than 50 countries worldwide.
